Due to many e-mails from people requesting me to make footbag tutorials I’ve decided to put together a list of excellent tutorials I’ve found on YouTube to help those who are interested in learning. When following the tutorials bellow make sure you learn the tricks and techniques on both sides seeing as they will help you greatly when learning future tricks.
To first learn to play freestyle footbag you must learn the basics. Learning all of these in order from top to bottom will help you greatly overall when it comes to learning new tricks and freestyling.
Basic Kicks are the first thing you should learn when you pick up a footbag. Through learning the basic kicks you are gaining the coordination to help you move on to learning how to do tricks with a footbag.
Once you have mastered the Basic Kicks its time to move on to stalls. Stalls will be used with almost every trick in freestyle footbag. Guaranteeing far better control of the bag, stalls are the most important aspect of the sport.
So you’ve mastered the basic stalls and your ready to learn your first trick. I would absolutely recommend learning how to do an around the world seeing as it is the basic concept for almost any basic move. Through learning around the world you will gain the coordination to be able to do most essential 2 add tricks.
Alright so you’ve learned your first toe trick, now its time to move on and try learning how to switch and pickup. These tricks will get you used to switching between feet when playing freestyle footbag.
Okay so you’ve mastered all the above tricks now its time to get serious about your toe tricks. Learn how to do Mirage and Illusions as they will help you gain more variety in your future freestyle attempts.
